I joined Generations Church staff as the Community Pastor in 2017. I moved from Alberta with my wife Heather who I’ve been blessed to be married to since 1992. We’ve raised three daughters and pastored a couple of churches in the Edmonton area. Since moving here I’ve embraced everything about life on the Island but I’ve hung on to being a fan of the Oilers and the Elks. Currently, I am incredibly honoured and grateful to serve as the Interim Lead Pastor during this time of transition.

My husband, Frank, and I have been a part of Generations for most of our Christian journeys as we gave our hearts to the Lord in our teens but only started attending a church later on in life! Ever since then, God has put me in front of families and kids and I love it! Outside of my church-life, you can find me in the outdoors, making (and enjoying) gourmet meals at home, or hanging out with my amazing grand daughter! I am passionate about kids and families coming to know how much God loves them and how He created on purpose, for a purpose!

I am proud to say that I’ve been serving at Generations as the Pre-teen (and formerly Kids) Pastor for the past 14 years! My husband, Edgar, and I have two amazing little guys of our own (5 and 2) and enjoy spending our time RV-ing, traveling, and going on adventures! I am passionate about people - and especially preteens - coming to know Jesus in a life-changing way!
Caleb Gait Youth & Young Adults Pastor
I was fortunate enough to join Generations in October 2022 and have since been serving as the Youth & Young Adults Pastor! My wife, Amy, and I have 5 boys (yes.. FIVE, and ALL BOYS!) that are all 7 and under. Personally, I love oat-milk caramel macchiatos, disc-golfing, and being able to put my tool belt on for the odd construction project! I love what I do because I love people, love having fun and care deeply about seeing the next generation find and follow Jesus, fully and forever!

Linda MacLeod Interim Community Pastor
I moved to Nanaimo just about 3 years ago from Manitoba and have attended Generations Church since then. It’s an honour to serve now as Interim Community Pastor, working with Seniors and Missions, both of which are ministries I love.
My son, Benjamin, lives in Winnipeg where he is a psychiatric nurse. I look forward to visits with him as well as walking, gardening and just enjoying nature.

I joined the Generations Church staff as Administrator in 2022. My husband Joe and I have 4 boys and enjoy a very loud household of 4 drummers and a bass player! Not many people know that I actually grew up in Honduras as a kid and played with tarantulas, lizards and hermit crabs just for fun! Other than that?… I am passionate about praising Jesus and love to share this with others!
Terry Gillespie Custodian
Terry has been one of Generations Church’s longest standing employees as he’s served faithfully as our custodian! He is proud to have a big family with amazing grandkids and continues to work diligently to keep our grounds and building clean and tidy for all the ministries and events that come through our doors!
